Metocloprachem – active substance Metoclopramide, an oral drug which is used short-term to treat heartburn caused by gastroesophageal reflux in people who have used other medications without relief of symptoms.

Positive effects:

It is also used to treat slow gastric emptying in people with diabetes, which can cause nausea, vomiting, heartburn, loss of appetite, and a feeling of fullness after meals.

Possible side effects:

Common adverse drug reactions (ADRs) associated with metoclopramide therapy include restlessness (akathisia), and focal dystonia.
Infrequent ADRs include hypertension, hypotension, hyperprolactinaemia leading to galactorrhea, constipation, depression, headache, and extrapyramidal effects such as oculogyric crisis.
